Tahiri was busy kissing him, one arm wrapped around his neck, so the most she could do to agree right away was to nod fiercely as she ran her fingers across his stomach.

"Should have worn my robes," she gasped once she pulled away for a moment, then decided the moment was too long and nearly knocked her forehead against his when she went back to kissing him.

She'd be mortified later on, yes. Right now she was having too much fun tracing circles on his chest with her fingertips.

It wasn't like Tahiri needed the encouragement; she practically pounced on him, fingers digging into his shoulders, and it was a good thing they couldn't literally set the preserve on fire with everything radiating from their combined Force-sense. Her suit was undone almost to the waist now, and she'd never thought that something as simple as skin-to-skin contact would be that incredible.

Of course, there were other slight . . . ramifications to being a pretty strong telekinetic making out with another one, at least under heightened hormonal circumstances. It was a shame neither of them had apparently thought of that, or remembered what had happened with the pins at the bowling alley.

Or was paying any attention whatsoever to the very ominous creaking of the trees.

Or a couple of trees, at least.

It was really too bad Tahiri's attention was completely focused on kissing a trail along Ben's jaw -- the part of it that wasn't too busy going crazy about his breath against her ear, anyway.

Which was why she wasn't paying any attention to her danger sense, or she'd have realized one of the trees was crashing down on just the right trajectory to --

She didn't have enough reaction time to be indignant at the the circumstances, unfortunately.

Tahiri was going to be both very, very annoyed and very relieved about this later.

Right now, though, she was a little too, oh, unconscious to be either.

It took a few seconds longer before Tahiri stirred and let out a tiny groan of her own, though she didn't open her eyes yet.

"Who hit me with an asteroid?"

"Figures." Now she opened her eyes and glanced around; the clearing was kind of a mess now. "Oh, Sithspit, did we do all that?"

Any second now their relative state of undress would catch up to her. Really.

"My head hurts a little, but I'll be fine. Stupid trees. And a picnic sounded like such a good idea," she grumbled. Not that they'd touched the food. Tahiri reached out to touch Ben's cheek. "You're okay too, right?"

His eyes were so fascinating. "I'm here. You're here. We're both --" Not fully clothed at the moment. Shh. "Still alive. I'm sure, I really am."

"You better be okay," Tahiri said instantly, noticing his reaction. And now that the tree was out of the way she could sit up again -- which, ow. That hurt too.

Tahiri leaned over to kiss his forehead. "No kidding. Um . . ." She glanced down at her jumpsuit and started to button it back up. "It was nice? Until the tree."

She gave him an apologetic smile, and left the top three buttons undone -- the top one had fallen off in the end, anyway. Besides, it was still warm out here.

"I didn't even see that coming. You'd think we would've sensed it."

Tahiri inhaled sharply -- he was just touching her hand, it shouldn't be that big a deal, and yet. She scooted a little closer to very gingerly lean her head against his shoulder. "There was thinking?"
